Svelte: Slender Bicone in Striking Silver Glass
In this virtual workshop, students will learn how to shape a long – 2-2.5"/5-6.5cm – slender bicone with tapered puckered ends using striking silver glass. Hayley will share how she works the long bead to bring out multiple hues as well as how to correct colors and adjust values if needed.
Svelte
Svelte contains six lessons – four demo videos and two step-by-step written instructions. It is an on-demand, self-guided virtual workshop. Students are encouraged to watch these videos in the order presented once through, then re-watch each as you practice the techniques after each demo while following the Suggested Assignments. Students have access to this workshop for two years.
Students must have taken the two-day EMSG course or be proficient in striking silver glass, and be at an advanced beginner skill level and comfortable working on a fuel/oxygen mix torch.
