ColorPlay
Watercolor Effects on the Nebulae
and Bouquet Series Beads
In this ColorPlay workshop, students will learn the technique of layering transparent colors with silver glass on Hayley's signature Nebulae and Bouquet Series beads. Students will discover how to achieve multi-color watercolor hues in this skill-building class – starting with minimal layers on the Nebulae bead, progressing to more layers yielding "aurora borealis" hues, and culminating to the more complicated Bouquet beads. The workshop includes 10+ video demos and an invaluable handout with additional recipes as well as tips on how to create one's own unique layering palettes.
ColorPlay
ColorPlay is an on-demand, self-guided virtual workshop. Students are encouraged to watch these videos in the order presented once through, then re-watch each as they practice the techniques after each demo. Try some of the recipes presented in the handout and finally, create their own unique color palettes. Students have access to this workshop for two years.
Basic Effetre black, white, clear, various opaque colors, various transparent colors, Double Helix transparent and translucent (opal) colors, dual/combination silver glass, and reducing silver glass will be used. A complete tool and material list is available once registration is complete.
